Overcome Travel FOMO + get paid to travel

I used to be jealous, judgmental, + have serious FOMO of people who traveled often.

As silly as it seems, I was. I am busy + love to work + would sacrifice traveling in exchange for non-stop hustle. I had a fear of the unknown too.
.
When you constantly deny yourself of experiences that make you feel most alive, it eventually catches up with you + subconsciously you’ll start to hold resentment towards yourself + the ones that are doing things that you wish to do.
.
I know we’re all busy but I’ve learned the past few years esp. after my Dad died that it is the people who make enjoying their lives an absolute PRIORITY, that enjoy their lives to the fullest. You don’t have to have something traumatic happen to realize this, just the awareness and consciousness of knowing you want more.

Make a conscious effort to increase your joy whatever it may be- for me it specifically included traveling. Beaches, cities, new cultures, food, and experiences, these were all things I longed to explore but felt it wasn’t possible w an overwhelming schedule.

So how did I manage to still work + make income while traveling? I started to market myself as a global makeup artist. I started to say it in conversations until I believed it. Our thoughts become our words, which become our beliefs, which becomes actions, which become reality.

I now have clients flying me to Barcelona, Cabo, Bahamas, Miami, France. I also utilized my writing skills + share about places + experiences. Hotels have offered me decent rates, discounts, and complementary stays. If your a writer/blogger it’s not too late to start. I hear other bloggers saying the field is over saturated but to be honest it’s really not. There is room for us all to be successful, don’t let anyone let you think otherwise. And it’s not ever too late to start.

Push yourself to come up w a new script and whatever you do DONT COMPARE YOURSELF to others. Make it happen for yourself.
